Connect Claude or another MCP client
Use the complete Streamable HTTP endpoint below. The website address by itself is not the MCP endpoint.
https://mcp.parceloptimizer.ai/mcp/- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Parcel Optimizer and paste the endpoint above. Claude should detect that OAuth is always required.
- Keep Use Anthropic's hosted client metadata (Recommended) selected, add the connector, choose Connect, then sign in with your Parcel Optimizer account.
- If Claude still says “Couldn't determine the server settings”, click Next, set authentication to Always required or OAuth, and select Anthropic's hosted client metadata.
- If hosted metadata is unavailable, use No client ID — register one automatically (DCR). Do not enter a shared client ID or secret. If prompted for scopes, enter mcp:connect.
Automatic detection is the normal path. Claude can cache connector metadata briefly; after a new server release, wait a few minutes before retrying.
Other clients: use Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.0, S256 PKCE, Client ID Metadata Documents or DCR, and the mcp:connect scope. Claude authentication guide
